| This is an Italian mediaeval tower-house,part of a hamlet on the Florentine Hills in Chianti just south of Florence. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, facing the Arno valley and the mountain of Pratomagno. It has 2 self-catering apartments,one on the ground floor and the other on first and second floor of the tower. There are totally 7 sleeping places but each apartment is better occupied by a couple, because the bathroom is close to the bedroom. It is 16 kilometres from Florence and only 3 from the town of Pontassieve where shops, supermarkets, banks,a post office and a railway station are near at hand. The house built in the XIIth century with white limestone,was restored between the XVth and the XVIth century assuming its actual aspect. Its location in an area with many cultural and natural attractions makes it easy to visit the famous mediaeval towns in Tuscany. Who are fond of sports may follow the itineraries in the countryside directly from the house. The owner is available for Cooking Lesson of Tuscan and Medieval food. It is also possible to have dinner, with the owner, on request.There is no pool. |

| The apartment is really very good furnished with typical tuscany old pieces. Furthermore you can find books about renaissance art, about florence and Tuscany. The ceiling of the tower was decorated in the past, and you can find a part of it in a panel inside the apartment on first floor. |
