This lovely old farm estate is situated amongst the gentle hills of Chianti Classico in the heart of Tuscany,just a few km from Siena.In this area of 70000 hectars there are ancient churches,beautiful farmhouses and amazing castles , surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.In the spring in this area of the Tuscan countryside is at its best in beauty.
The name 'Chianti Classico'is found as far back as 1200 in some documents that tell the legend of a man called Chianti that goes to Florence to sell wine.The farm estate which is in the centre of Chianti Classico was the battle ground in 1440 of many battles between SIena e Florence. Towns that are worth a visit like Arezzo, Montepulciano, San Quirico, Montalcino and Pienza are not far away. |
